This is the worst online voucher purchase I have ever made from any store. The web form is impenetrable and misleading. There is nowhere, or at least I couldn't find anywhere, to add a comment or message for the voucher. The web form has the purchaser enter the details of the recipient, including their address, and indicates that the voucher will be posted to that address. But then the voucher gets sent by email, blank except for the value, to the email address entered for the purchaser, not the recipient. So then the purchaser has to download the voucher, fill in the details themselves, and send the voucher to the recipient. In which case, why did Build-a-Bear need the address and details of the recipient at all?!?
Not only that, but it is unnecessarily complicated that you can only purchase fixed-value vouchers. It should be possible to simply choose the value that you want and have a single voucher generated with that value.
In short, I was extremely frustrated with the whole process and I would not use your voucher service again, nor recommend it to anyone else. In this day and age, there is no excuse for such a poor web-based voucher system. This is a shame because we know from experience that your in-store service is good and the bears are high quality. Your online presence is nowhere near the same level.
